Photography Project (Space)

For our first photography project our brief that was given to us was to look into space.

I first started looking at spaces below, above and in between. After my first day of shooting images, i found that i was getting slightly sidetracked and ended up taking a load of images that didn't have much of a meaning or focus. From all the images i took in the crit, i was told that my initial idea maybe wasn't the best route to go down. After my class mate and tutor looked through my images they said my strongest pieces were the ones where i had looked at shapes of space through buildings in Kingston were the best. Keeping this in mind i went out again to take some more images to fit this.
I do agree with what was said and feel my final images were a lot stronger then what i was taking at the start.

Below, In Between and Above

Space between the bin

Space below a bench

Space in between leaning phone boxes

Space Within A Space (Unseen Space)

These are a selection of images i used for my final pieces along with a couple i didn't use.

After our final crit i got a lot of good feedback for my final images, i decided to show images from my first initial idea as well as images from my second. I was told that they looked like they'd be taken by two different photographers and that i didn't need to show the first set as the second was the strongest. I'm pleased with how my images turned out for this project.
